My dad. My dad and I have a love hate relationship and 80% of the time it’s hate. We barely get along and we argue about the stupidest things.

Seriously dad don’t act like you know me. You don’t know anything about me which is pretty sad. I wish I was a “daddy’s girl”. You don’t show me love the way other parents do. You just throw words at me like I have no feelings. There is never a day where we don’t fucking argue. You have no idea how annoying and painful that is. Stop expecting and asking so much from me. I can’t do everything you ask for. Stop thinking you know how to run my life and how I don’t know how to prioritize anything. Stop yelling and throwing inappropriate/unnecessary words at me. Stop comparing me to others. And most of all stop putting my self esteem down. Calling me dumb and stupid and threatening to take my cellphone will make no difference at all it will actually ruin me more and make me rebel a billion times more. I’m about ready to leave this house and find someone who knows how to treat their daughter with respect. You want respect? How about you show me a little respect. I’m tired of sobbing and pretending i’m okay with the way you treat me. I wish you understood me.

Go to sleep with a prayer. Pray about everything, talk to God. Just let it out, all the good, all the bad. He’s always listening, prayer does change things. Even if you think God isn’t listening, let me tell you he always is. He’s always working on something for you. Breathe & ask for forgiveness and also forgive others. Remember, tomorrow is a brand new day. Start fresh & clean.

It’s not fighting that makes you closer.

It’s the making up after a fight that makes you closer. It’s coming to each others senses realizing that you really do care for each other, and the feeling of accepting ones mistake and forgiving. Learning something new about one another, what bothers them, and what makes them happy. Understanding each other more, and owning up to your mistakes. That’s what brings you closer.
